Self-Directional Skills - Algebra II Test
The unit 1 test for my Algebra class was the first important test I had since the school year had started. I studied for the test a couple days before, and I'm really proud of my work considering that we're not in actual classrooms. I'm happy with my grade as well! |

I feel that this test addresses self-directional skills . I feel this way because self-directional skills are all about monitoring you're own learning needs, and I was really trying to figure out the best way to go about taking the test, and what I could do to get the best grade possible.
I am proud of my grade I received on this test, which was 104%. I did the posted study guide and created my own review sheet, and I'd say it paid off.
This test helped me improve my self-directional skills by allowing me to experiment with what type and what amount of studying I personally need.
The most difficult part of completing this task was getting over the nerves before the test started. I've always been a nervous test taker, and I figured being in the comfort of my own home might help with that, but I didn't really notice a difference.
I am really proud of this test, and I got the highest possible grade, so I don't think I would choose to redo anything.
Obviously I've taken plenty of tests in the past, but this one felt different from all the others simply due to the fact that I was taking it at home over a zoom call. This test really relates to those I've taken in the past because of the nervousness I feel before hand.
Learning and understanding how taking tests from home was going to happen has already helped alleviate the stress that comes with the unknown. I feel prepared for future tests, and I know what I personally need to do to ensure the best grade possible.
Self-Directional Skills: The ability to understand and monitor your own learning needs.
