This semester was my first time ever having Democracy. In this class we've learned about The Constitution, rule of law, types of governments, what defines a state, the importance of voting, how to vote, and created our own country! The biggest project we've done so far is a slideshow of everything we learned in quarter 1. We got the information from packets we've done having to do with government.

Civic Literacy and Engagement - Student demonstrates an understanding of and the ability to analyze and participate in government and in community.
For this project, I mostly used civic literacy and engagement skills. Through this project I've learned a lot about actually participating in government. I've learned how to vote responsibly, and I feel like when the time comes I'll be able to effectively participate in the community through voting.
