Interpersonal Skills - Zoom breakout rooms
This semester all of my college classes were asynchronous, meaning the professors assign work and we get it done. No zoom calls necessary. However, both of my high school classes, advisory and algebra, require zoom meetings. Breakout rooms occur more commonly in Algebra with Ms. Shirkhodai. In those breakout rooms, we solve equations and go over our answers together/help each other if one or more of us is struggling with an equation.

I feel zoom breakout rooms address interpersonal skills, because part of practicing interpersonal skills is being able to work with a variety of teams.
I'm proud of myself and my peers for being able to make distance learning work, and still being able to have fun in class.
I personally feel like working with a group in person is easier than working over zoom. I only feel this way because if someone is showing you how to do a problem, you can't exactly see what they're writing step-by-step. However, I feel like in the end this helps us work together more effectively and improve our skills, as we're paying attention to what we're doing and listening intently to each other.
Zoom breakout rooms relate to what I've done in the past because project groups were a common occurrence. The only difference now is that everything is online!
I can apply what I'm learning from these zoom breakout rooms to groups in the future. Both zoom and in person groups! I think we're all learning a lot throughout this quarantine, and I feel we'll be changed students when we come back to school.
Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team.
