So far in Spanish I we've covered basic words, greetings/goodbyes, counting 0-100, days of the week, months, seasons, The day's date, and Duolingo assignments.
SPANISH COUNTRY PROJECT
For this project, we were assigned a country to research individually. With the information we found we had to make a posterboard. We were also supposed to draw a map and flag of the country. The country I was assigned was Venezuela. To the left are the flag and map I created.
Project Reflection: Global Awareness - Student demonstrates and understands the thinking, motivations, and actions of different cultures and countries.
For this project, I feel like I mostly utilized global awareness skills. I feel this way because I had to learn and understand a completely new country. I had to research their customs, traditions, festivals, etc. I feel like I also utilized self-directional skills because this was an individual project, and we had to turn everything in by specific times, as well as do all the research by ourselves.
